I just bought a very nice Resolute III and have a question that I have been unable to find an answer for. On the photo included, on the left bottom, what is that hole for that the arrow is pointing to. There is no hole in the removable front piece at the bottom of the door opening, so there is no bolt there to hold that piece in.

That hole is for the rod used with the shaker grates if the stove is set-up for burning coal.

For burning wood, just close it off.
