Hi,

I'm looking at getting one of these. A few questions:
  1. Are you happy with the fan in terms of noise, capacity/throughput, and durability?
  2. Is the heat output effective? Anything like the claimed 300m2, 12kW?
  3. Did you consider vs the cheaper PE Neo 2.5? What swayed you?
  4. Has anything broken/failed?
  5. Overall would you recommend?
Thanks!

Lopi makes both a large and a medium flush insert. The one issue with either stove is that a flush insert is more dependent on the blower for getting good heat into the area than one the projects out onto the hearth a bit. The other thing is that both are mostly E/W loaders unless the firewood is cut short. For the Lopi, that would be like 10" or 25cm. For the Neo 2.5 it would be around 14" or 35cm. For 24/7 burning, a N/S loading insert will afford much better utilization of the firebox capacity and longer burn times. This is because in an E/W firebox, the wood must be stacked so that logs don't roll up against the glass.
