I have to have a set rear clearance according to the tag on my stove (UL inspection specs) and that's clear but what isn't clear is what is the rear of the stove. Is it the rear of the actual stove metal or the blower motor which extends a good 3" past the rear of the stove?

That's what I was thinking. The UL Tag for the stove is on the blower shroud if that makes any difference. I suppose for the MFG's needs that was the easiest place to stick the big metal tag where it would be out of view during the day to day.
