Been a long while since I posted, still using the enviro empress I bought ~5 years ago.
This year we decided to buy Douglas Fir Okanagans and my stove loves them. I love them. Wife loves them. and while they cost more, they mean I barely need to clean my stove. Flip side is I need to watch my burnpot because I loose track of when I last scraped it (see below).
We lost power over thanksgiving and our generator kept the stove going and the whole house from freezing until it returned on Saturday night.
My stove has blown 2 fuses recently while I wasn't in the room. One I suspect was due to the burn pot being clogged and was my fault more or less.
The second time was this morning. It looks like both the ignitor and the circulator fan failed. Jiggling the circulator fan motor got it to work little, but it is basically seized and needs replacing.
Short of me lucking out with a local dealer (I have one near home and one near work), any suggestions for an online source?
Any chance the ignitor is being impacted by the circulator blower, or should I just order both now?
I've rigged a separate air fan for now and started with a blow torch, as it is supposed to be 12F tonight. I love pellet stove, but after this set of fixes I'm likely to plan on replacing this unit with something else.
So:
1) an online supplier of note (pm me if you like)
2) any chance my ignitor is being sympathetic to the circulator fan's condition
