Regency insert damaged. Need help

I just got home from work to load my Recency i2400 insert and noticed a piece of what looks like an Angle iron Bracket type metal right above the door opening inside the stove was hanging down. It looks like half the metal is still in tact. Should I be concerned? Should I stop use of stove? Is this covered under warranty?
This piece of metal is right above the air wash set up. Help please

How old is the insert? Does the deflector plate have bolt holes or was it welded? If it is an earlier welded one yes it will be covered and you need to get it fixed but you can burn with out it till you do. If it is a bolt in one put it back in place or if it is damaged get another one and bolt it fast.

I bought it in 2008. I don't think it's bolted. It looks like it's welded. So it's called a deflector plate? How would that get repaired? Would I have to take it somewhere. Or would someone come and fix it at home. It would be tough to transport the stove.

You can try calling another regency dealer to take care of it. We cut the old ones out then drill and tap bolts in to bolt in a new one. But you would have to see what the dealer said.

for the labor absolutely if they didn't sell the stove to you they absolutely will not fix it for free. And we don't get paid for it by regency it would be out of their pocket

I thought that it was covered by lifetime warranty? I might have to do. This is not good.

Parts are yes but not labor

It deflects heat away from the air wash channel behind it if not fixed that channel will eventually crack. It needs to be fixed. Call regency and find another local dealer and talk to them about it.

If it is a welded one and it has come loose it would need replaced.
