Hi all. Had my heart set on a Renaissance Rumford in a planned renovation but noticed that the chimney system does not conform to the Canadian standard ULC S-629. Am concerned the ULHT 103 system recommended will not pass muster with the local building folks or the insurance folks. Anyone have experience with this? Curious how other jurisdictions in Canada are dealing with this?
Are there any ULC S-629 10" chimneys available?

Call RSC and ask them how to address the problem. The things are made in Canada, and the same company makes ICC pipe. They must be able to help you.
