I have an old Van Wert Simplex Multitherm circa 1979 that burns both oil and wood for steam heat. My house is approx. 4000 sq ft, have the old cast iron radiators. Want to keep the steam heat, and want a more efficient furnace- want to stay with the oil/wood combo. Can anyone suggest a manufacturer? Am in CT. Do not want an outside style furnace though.

I think the Wood Gun is the only wood-burning steamer available. And it's a good one. Check the banners. It'll show up after a few screen refreshes.

Let me know if you want someone to haul that Simples away for ya ;-)
