Question:

I am trying to locate a rear brick retaining bar for my Gibraltar coal stove. It is a free standing radiant heat type with a 6" flue. The bar fell off the bricks this season and has warped beyond use. the store where we bought the stove several years ago is having trouble getting the bar. Can you give me the name of a distributor that can help me



Answer:

These bars are usually welded in place and made out of regular angle iron - i.e. not available as a part you can order.

A local welder or fab shop should be able to do something for you.
