There is an easier way to do this than pulling the stove and working from behind. Researched pellet fire temps, found some ceramic wire nuts on the net that are good to 1800 degrees f. This simplified installation amazingly. Just drop the old igniter by removing the two screws in front of the firepot, cut, strip, splice, nut, put the new igniter in place and you're done. Did this about two weeks ago and it's worked perfectly since.
