Is there a special trick to removing it? I put a wrench over it and it wouldn't even budge. I'm assuming it's original to the stove which is a 1991. I have the new igniter to go in, I just don't want to snap the old one. Is this something I can put a torch to so I can expand the metal? I'm a car guy so I have the necessary tools. I can light it manually, so I know it works properly.

Liquid wrench.. let it sit, liquid wrench. I have never used one. Just a firebrick cut in small pieces. But I keep mine on for 2 - 3 weeks before cleaning.
