Didn't know that there were hand grenades in the Revolutionary War. Interesting read. First thought to be shot for a small cannon also recovered, so they were just filed away.

I imagine the first hand grenades were developed by the Chinese after the invention of gunpowder. Probably by someone named "Two Finger" Li. :)
