Has anyone heard of or used the Ridgewell soft pine pellets? I was told by a local supplier not to use soft pellets as it can cause damage to the stove. Is this true?

"Soft pine" is most likely just the species used. Pellets are compressed to between 40 and 42 pounds per cubic foot. So the finished pellet should be the same density as all other species.
