Hello,

New here and brand new to wood stoves...I am renting a home with a Russo 2FC-R and I am hoping that someone may have access to an old owners manual? I can figure out the general idea and I know that the flu needs to be open, but there are two levers - one on the top to the chimney and one on the side that controls a much larger slot opening in the back. I am guessing that the second lever may control burn rate somehow? Can anyone confirm proper operation before it gets too cold up here in Maine?

Can you post pix of the stove? I can't find that model # listed anywhere.

Looks like this may be a coal stove primarily. It will also burn wood, but not too efficiently. There is info on it on the coal forums.
