Happy holidays! Newbie here. Have a Jotul C 550 CB Rockland wood stove insert with a cracked-all-the-way-through skamol panel. It’s one of two such panels, which sit on top of the baffle plates. I have a replacement on order but it won’t be in for two or three weeks. Wondering if burning smaller fires in the meantime would be safe. The broken skamol panel still sits on the baffle plate OK, and the two pieces fit together OK. Thanks in advance for any guidance.
