Hello

This blower housing was in tough shape! So I took out the motor.

All but one severely rusted housing bolt came out after wire brushing and soaking with the PB blaster. The last bolt took the air cutter to cut the head off and then drill out the threads and tap a new bolt in.

All but one of the rusted hub nuts came out easily, the last one need the vise grips to give it a little push.

The impeller collar was rusted solid and the wire brush and PB Blaster did no good, the allen wrench just stripped the set screw. The air cutter did the job again! See pics.

Here is a video of how the motor sounds.

Does anyone know where to get a 4-3/4" impeller blade cheap?

I would get in touch with MountainSean on here from http://www.stove-parts-unlimited.com he was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction. I believe the blades for my application were like $14.

hmm....Harman part # 3-21-00661.....its 4-3/4", single paddles, same hub, but cant tell you the cfm's that it can move, Im afraid....they are about $15 or so at your local friendly, debonair, Harman dealer!

Looks like the impeller blade we have for Whitfields, Breckwells, Enviro's etc. to me. We sell them for $11.

Yes MS, it is pretty standard and $11.00 is a very good price, I just found the link.

In the meantime, I did find one in very good shape off a junk motor. I did not have an extra hub so I pulled out the Wire Wheel, Die Grinder, Acetone and Dry Moly Spray to see how this rusty mounting hub would cleanup? See pics, not bad!

I would never sell this as new, but it makes a good spare to pop in a stove that dies in Mid Winter till a new part arrives! ! !

What do you think is a fair used price? $50.00

Thanks LW

I did break down and get the Harman 5" single and double blade impellers for my repair biz for the Advanced and P series.
Strange that the big motor wholesalers do not sell them. So now I am looking for the standard 4-3/4" small petal and large petal impellers and not the Enviro that lists for $64.00 ! ! !

So these look good!
