Has anyone thought how nice it would be to scoop out nothing but dust?
Being able to lift the coals up with a steel mesh or something enough to
get a shovel under it. Or a shovel with a built in separator.

I have an ash pan and metal grate that the ash falls through,but with out it i see you point.
