Yes, since I run the place I will make an exception to the no commercialism policy.....

Buy a few caps/pots or the whole company cheap.

Make millions in the chimney cap biz - or just buy 'em all from me and sell 'em on ebay for more......

I promise to put the Midas Touch on the whole shebang for you....

Dear Excellent Benevolent Dictator :) WebMeister

I admire not only your ideas, but your approach.

I want to be like you, in all sorts of ways!

inventive, benevolent, but prosperous enough to call your own shots and call it like it is without wondering how it'll be received

in the short haul, I may want one of these things, or some combination of 'em, to cover my un-covered three in line 8 inch round flues and keep rain and birds out

:smirk:
Heck, I look at it this way. I already lost all the money, now anything I make is gravy!

Benevolent? I'll have to look that one up......

Sure, I'll take that one as my major fault! My parents used to complain - that when I went to overnight camp and got care packages (goodies), I would distribute them all to my bunk mates.

Ahhh! the buy high sell low, make it up on volume business model- almost like the big three, or various things I've tried :)

what do you have that would fit a 48x16 (approximate) chimney with three 8 inch round tile flues on approx eight inch centers, with the center flue being more or less in the middle of the masonry mass? anything that'd look like your PT 812 that would fit over such a chimney, or can you give me suggestions of how to make such a thing with a minimum of trial and error and not have it look dreadful? or separate "pots" that would fit such an arrangement?

by the way, need a corporate counsel for Hearth ¿ ? .... I am a trained lawyer, although my favorite joke is "did you hear what happened to the lawyer who took viagara and experienced unexpected side effects? the only thing that it did for him was that he got taller...."

ok, I am wrong, you are, I am gathering, much more of a benevolent anarchist.

anarchy and zen seem to have a lot in common at their roots, although I have much to learn about each, and how to deploy either constructively

we need to do some variant of 'Burning Man East' this summer. my place. big meadow. beautiful views. easy to get to. I have already invited my friends who own and ride Russian made motorcycles and am very soon to invite a local friend who makes and gives lessons in digderidoos. let's keep it close to rated PG, as I have a great 10 year old son who is with me 1/2 time and I want to keep it that way. I digress, but I do that. it's how evolution happens.
