Short legs for Englander MC30

I'm looking pretty hard at the MC30 for the new house. Reviews are positive, and it seems solid. My issue is I'd like to install in an existing fireplace, but as stock it's about an inch too tall. I'm going onto a large brick hearth so I'm not too concerned about clearances.

1) Does any one know if there are short legs available for it?

2) What do you think my prospects are for cutting the factory legs with a cut off wheel?

Assuming you have the standard 9" legs, I suggest to call Englander and ask for the 6" leg kit: CA-S12B 6" Leg Set (black) (12 lbs. for set) $108.68

What is the height of the lintel at the front of the fireplace?

Thanks guys. Short leg kit is a pretty solid idea. Also a nice fallback if I screw up cutting down the legs

Lintel height is 28 5/8", which seems to be about an inch too short. Not sure if horsing it under and putting the legs on later is viable (or might look goofy anyway)?

When I put mine in I set the stove on a automotive floor jack, rolled it in place, jacked it up and then bolted the legs on, smooth and almost effortless.

If you are referring to me, sorry, I didn't make a video. Are you saying this sounds hokey? It really worked well. Think transmission jack...well here,

just like that only with a stove in the fireplace, obviously.

Talking about saichele's. My floor jack has spent more time in my fireplace in the last 29 years than it has under my trucks.
