Summer has been warm in SE PA, and other projects on the property have been kicking my butt 24/7.
With the chillier air at night, I'm starting to stress the coming fall/winter/early-spring, and getting back onto the hydronic heating system.
I've moved the 1040 gallon, pressurized tank into the garage, and gotten it *close* to where I want it positioned. I've re-sealed the drain piping (was unsure of condition) and added 4-5" of closed-cell foam to the bottom before up-righting it (aprroximated R-18/R-20). I'm looking for advice in wrapping the sides of the tank with insulation in the most efficient way. I want to keep shop space at a premium, yet insulate it in a decent manner to batch burn as much as possible, and retain heat with my Eko 40.
Does anyone have some advice as to what to wrap it in? I was looking at this: ( https://bayinsulationsupply.com/wp-...JM_MinWool-1200_Lamella_Tank_Wrap_IND-424.pdf ) and then adding another 6" or so of spray foam on the top after connections are made, but I'm open to advice/data.
