Having a hard time finding a crimped end that will go into the flu collar. OD is slightly less than 6”. ID is like 5 7/8”. I here has to be a way without starting with a female around the collar. Help please.

are you going to use single or double wall stove pipe. I have single wall and I have an adapter on mine. I had to cut some slits in the crimped end (male) to bet it to fit. If you go that route, just don't cut them too long. I used a block of 2x4 about 8 inches long laid on it's side and a mallet to gently tap down on the pipe to help get it seated.

To get the adapter, are you going to buy it local or online?

What brand of stove pipe and chimney are you using?

I used something like this for my stove https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FC1TGVKQ
