Signs Comvection Blower Failing

I have an England 25-PDVC made 09/09 which I have had since 12/10. I burn about 2.5 tons per season of premium pellets. I clean thoroughly every other day. Tonight, I got an E 3 error code and not sure why. My settings are 4-3-1. I re-set, then re-started and I don't think the room blower is really putting out enough into the room. I vacuumed under the stove which wasn't very dirty.

It's going to be quite cold these next three days and wondering if the room blowers go slowly or just die? Could there be another problem affecting it? I have a nice hot flame and am now running about 4 notches above the heat. I normally operate about 2 or 3 notches.

E3 code is blower failure or overheating issue.
When was the last time you pulled the combustion or convection blowers out for cleaning?
I am sure Mike from Englander will chime in

I had a few e-3 coded this year also. My blower was pulled and cleaned this fall.
I run my bottom 3 at 3-6-1.

I have not pulled either to clean. I use a radiator hose connected to a shop vac that I insert into the exhaust pipe to clean the exhaust. My pipes were installed with RTF on them making removal nearly impossible.

How do you clean the room blower? Do they just die or go bad slowly?

The room blower has to be removed and cleaned at least once a year
more often if you have pets . don't know Englander stoves check your owners manual
The fan cage will be full of hair and dust This will cause it to run slow ( not push as much air )
It also should be oiled . The same goes for the combustion blower .good luck

Pellet stoves while great are not low maintanance. Combustion and convection fans should be removed and cleaned about every ton of pellets burned.
You are long overdue after burning 5 tons since 2010.
