I have a Montigo Gas fireplace which is only 7 years old. Recently we heard the continuous beeping from the control board which is SIT Proflame 2 IFC Control Module. If I disconnect the board from the electricity plug, beeping stops. With the beeping, I can't turn on the fireplace. There is no battery pack for the control board.

It looks like something is wrong with the control board. Is this something I can simply purchase and swap to fix the issue? Or it's beyond the control board?

Thanks!

Is this the manual? Are you certain there is no battery pack? Is there an error code?

Thank you for the response. Yes this is the manual and there is no battery pack. I can't identify an error code as the red LED flashing is not consistent. Sometimes it is off while beeping but other times it just keeps going many times. I disconnected the power and reconnected but it didn't solve the issue.

You might be better off to see if someone can troubleshoot it. If for some reason you can purchase another control assembly at a good price, that's what I'd do. It may solve the problem, or you may have a spare part.

Is it straight forward to replace it by another control assembly? Just unplug and re-plug all the wires to the new one? Anything I need to pay attention to when swapping the control board?

Any control module is built to be replaced. If it is all wires and plug connections, you should not have an issue.
With the new board be careful handling it ie no static charges.
