Good day!
So we put a steel roof on two years ago or so (time flies), I replaced our metal shroud with the silicone boot provided by the manufacturer. First season was fine, but likely some damage from sliding snow has caused a very small leak in a very specific place. I think I have given up trying to fix it, and want to move on to replacing the boot with something like we had before (all metal).
I can't remember the exact size of the stove pipe, but would something like I have linked work if I get the right size?
I will make a separate post about snow proofing as that is another battle in my mind, I may also take one last stab at the leak.
Work in progress pic so you can see what we have going on, and the amount of snow I am dealing with.
Thank you for reading, and I look forward to posting more and hopefully solving this.
