Feeling the Heat

We finally bought a house, and I plan to use our P68 in the living room to heat the kitchen and send a bunch of heat upstairs. I've had a basement install for the past 6 seasons, so I'm aware of what it takes.

We have a back room that is isolated from the rest of the house, but has a chimney in it. I'm looking for a small pellet stove with auto light function, so we can easily turn it on while we're using the room, and turn it off when we're not. The room is approximately 500 sq ft. I'm looking for used, because I can't afford a new stove.

I'm looking on Craigslist, and Marketplace, but all these brands are foreign to me. Quadrafire, King, Pelpro, Englander??? I don't know what they are or what they can do.

Any ideas?

If it were me, I would be looking for an Enviro P3 or a mini both auto light
easy to maintain and only 30,000 BTU, or a Harman P43, a little bigger and
up to 45,000 BTU. Finding a used one may not be easy

Harman and Enviro are the best. After that it probably depends on the condition and price. There are some really inexpensive brands out there for sure. I have heard of those you listed except maybe King. If you make a list of the best ones you can find we can comment on them.

You also could get a new one with a warranty and pay less by getting a brand other than Harman/Enviro
