Snow storm 6-12"on its way kinda nice for the holiday. The snow upstate in buffalo was crazy 7 feet of snow. Oh well I will be cranking my stove up, Early Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Hey Santa Fe

My stove is off because it was so warm today!

I just got a 25-PDVC going today.

Only problems were:
1. Exhaust venting was totally plugged up with ash.
2. The convection blower squirrel cage was totally plugged with dust.
3. The augers ware so dirty the top auger kept binding
4. The bottom auger died after a only a few mins of operation and the magnet was firey hot!
5. The ignitor was so much out of alignment that no air got thru to light up the pellets!
6. Exhaust blower so caked with ash, it could hardly turn.

I got gas a couple of weeks ago and tested the snow blower to make sure it would start. Need to arrange for a couple more tons of pellets to put in the garage (now that the bike is out, I have a little bit of room). Propane is at 30% of a 500 gallon tank and so far only heating water so should be good for a while.

How does your UHDTV work with Sat? Will it go above 1080?

I don't know about above 1080 part. I do know the picture quality is scary better than our previous 1080 HD TV. My wife says its like the actors are on stage and we have the front row seat. Samsung TV with Samsung wireless soundbar/woofer.

Interesting. I have a 56 inch HD LED and when I shoped and compared I couldn't see a difference unless I was about two feet away but that was a year or so ago. From normal viewing distance the pictures looked identical to me. Maybe if you go up to 80 or 100 inches the extra pixels would make a difference? I do know that when I went from LCD to LED the difference was discernable.

The Samsung LED HD TV's are best for picture as far as I am concerned. Got one 4 years ago and still literally marvel out loud at how good the picture is at least a couple times a week.

Only 50 inch. Our previous HD TV was only 32 inch. So maybe the increased size from 32 to 50 inch is why we are so impressed with the new TV ;lol

it does look like that//// My son's LED everything looks like it;s video taped... think Soap Opera's..
even movies outside look like it's on a Inside stage....if it bothers anyone , turn the Refresh rate down to next level. It will look normal again.

Heavy wet snow falling. Looks like one of those "firewood" maker snow storms. limbs already hanging and it just started.

Just a skiff around here and maybe an inch just south of us. I was hopping for more and cold weather.

After looking at how much dumped on Buffalo, I'm embarrassed to call our piddly 10" a storm.

Our forcast of 6 - 10" turned into less than 2". Wet, heavy, sloppy stuff, but nothing to panic over.
