Had this batch in my solar kiln since June 4, pulled them out today to rotate them into big shed and move another batch into the kiln.
I split one of the larger pieces that were at the very bottom in the middle row of the kiln, and had good results, tested about three big pieces all relatively the same reading.
It got about 8-9 hours of directly sunlight a day.
