I was spring cleaning my chimney this afternoon when the button on the drill adapter broke. I found the spring behind the button but I can't find the button. Does anybody know where I can buy a new drill adapter quick and cheap?

I'd second this idea. I leave it in the same rod anyway, so I don't misplace the thing.

Not a bad idea, at least until that shaft's button breaks too.

I would recommend attaching it with a screw not glue. That way it could be removed if need be

In a Google search, I see that this part sold in New Zealand has a set screw.
