The Buck Stove plant sustained damage, as did much of the downtown area, when they got 2' of rain and heavy wind. The quartz mine, one of the few sources of pure quartz used for chips and solar panels, was affected as well. Of course, the human toll in these events is always the utmost concern. I can scarcely image what some of these folks are going through. 😟
