[Hearth.com] Squeak and thump in Harman assembly [Hearth.com] Squeak and thump in Harman assembly There seems to be a thumping and squeak from the auger motor assembly. Don't know why or how it originated, but I took the rear cover off, opened the fines box and vac'ed, and noticed there is play on the motor mount as the pellet feed door opens and closes. This is the section that moves, but I think that is by design? Any help or recommends would be appreciated.

Anyone?

you may just have some ultra fine sawdust (lignen) buildup on the sides of the slide plate. run it dry of pellets, remove slide plate from feeder (fines box), inspect for whatever, reassemble.
