Could be just some dust that gets sucked in when you fill the hopper
Some stoves leak a little dust from the auger around the lower bearing
depends on how much dust you have a little is normal a lot is not

Thanks, that makes sense, pellets this year, hardwood from Lignetics, were the worst I seen in 11 yrs. I cleaned them twice with a homemade pellet cleaner set up in my garage. Thanks
