This is the top of my liner after running the sooteater up it. Is the black staining stage 3 creosote glaze or just normal soot stains? Doesn’t feel glassy or anything. The liner is insulated, but I don’t thing the top foot or so is. Should I be concerned? Liner is about 6 years old.

When I sweep my liner, it ends up looking just like yours.
