Hello there,

I am new to the forum. I recently purchased a second hand Vermont castings stove and installed it in my home. I'm very excited to use it next winter. The one minor issue being that the previous owner must have installed it into a preexisting fireplace and had switched to short feet and bottom heat shield. I can operate it on my hearth with the short feet but would love to switch to standard feet.

If anyone is in a reverse predicament I would be more than happy to trade both the shortened feet and bottom heat shield for the original length feet.

Thanks so much,
