Hello. I am new to the forum and just purchased a Vermont Castings Montpelier 2. Looking forward to using it this winter even though my winters are pretty mild by most standards (Savannah, GA). Just want to be able to heat the house a bit better when the grandkids come over.

I am getting ready to install the unit but cannot find any mechanism to level it. The install manual is dated 4/23 and the only reference to leveling is on page 18 where it just says "Level and install appliance." I emailed VC and they directed me to my dealer. The dealer gave me a text message with some promising sounding data but it must be for an older unit because it doesn't seem to apply to mine. It references removing a "louver / ash shelf panel" and accessing the 2 leveling bolts under that. I have looked and looked. I cannot find what that may refer to.

Any ideas, pictures, comments?

Thanks
Jeff
