My father has a Steel King Wood Burning Furnace/Boiler in our garage to heat the house, we do not have the owners manual anymore nor access to one. He guesses that it was made in the 80's but knows little else about it. Recently he has said that the stove seems to be getting too hot and not distributing the hear properly. I know nothing about stoves and he isn't very tech-savy so I'm trying to find out some information for him if anyone can help us! He really just wants to know if installing a damper in the stove will help with this problem? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
