'Nuff.

Done.

Over.

(broken link removed to http://www.weather.com/video/major-snowstorm-possible-this-week-36281?)

Pretty tired of it myself Dix. Pretty tired of it myself.

Twenties overnight not out of thirties tomorrow...just not right.

Thought I had the house packed. Not.

Gonna load it up tomorrow night.

It is 18::F outside as I write this. it got to 65::F on Saturday.
We are used to those kinds of temperature swings in MD, but usually we have spring by now. Snow tomorrow.;hm

+1::F here this morning. And lots of snow left in Tug Hill country, around 3 feet in the woods at the time of this writing. I snowmobiled all weekend! Here's a picture of a camp for a snowpack representation. And trout season opens in just nine days! Of course, there won't be any open water to actually fish in this area. Spring will come late here this year, and it's already a bad year for the maple syrup producers; there have been no sap runs at all yet.

Regards,
Scott on Tug Hill

I shortened the wood stack in the garage, and brought in another half wheel barrow yesterday, had the Oil tank topped off last week, bumped up the Thermostats...... I'll keep the fires goin', but if I happen to forget to reload, tuff noogies, I'm also done;sick

A bracing 12F walkie with the fool dog this morning, there will likely be some snow Tuesday/Wednesday. The only question is the track of the storm which (of course) will dictate the quantity. It won't last forever (I hope).

It's been a tough sugaring season in Maine, too.

It was -2F this morning here in Québec. Ice Crystals everywhere. Winter aint over yet!

[Hearth.com] Stick A fork In Me, Please ... The snow from the roof is getting really close to touching the snow on the ground.

Guess the snow banks didn't feel they were doing a good enough job making me feel claustrophobic.

All winter I would see this guy try to get the feeder, repeatedly falling or slowly sliding down the Shepard hook pole. We had a few good laughs at his expense. Guess he's the one laughing now.

You HAVE to tell us about that first photo!
The ice crystals were formed on the ground by the humidity of the cold air. There were hundreds of them. They just form naturally.

I have seen ice crystals form in "feathers" and such (we get frozen fog down here at times), but that truely looks like a frosted fern! Beautiful.

It really does look like a fern A "winter fern", and we have to wait all year long to see it! No doubt about it, winter has its very own special charm.

The kid and I rode 35 miles of trail on Sunday. Nothing calms the soul like having 50 fire breathing 2 stroke horsepower in between the legs! Now I can cancel that visit to the psychologist ........
