Does anyone make a good storm collar that is not made out of tin can thickness material. Something that tightens with a band like a hose clamp. My storm collar is kept in tension with little bent over tabs and basically held on with high temp silicone. I worry about it every time it rains.
 
If it is installed correctly, with sufficient silicone above & below the it, a storm collar can stay in place for a decade or longer…
