Maybe the air normally comes in thru the in bottom which is now closed of

That's a good idea. It's looks too small so he has the door open. This looks like something Saleaker might have up north in his camp.

I guess it's a big thing to do - seems like a good idea. If your bucket won't pass inspection, or is busted

The wall seems to be non-combustible and this could very well be a (wood or other working) shop without liquid fuel.
I think it's fine.

Or it's in Canada, where it's allowed.

True

It’s likely inefficient, definitely too close to that wall, and shouldn't be in a garage............... but I want it.
Doesn’t everyone have a wood burner in their shed, workshop or garage in Wisconsin? 🤣 🤣 when I lived there it certainly seemed to be true.

I watched that vid when it was 1st made. I thought it was the same stove until I looked closer.
It is getting to be a popular thing to do.....

I like the first one I saw a few years ago. I posted it in begreen's thread, "Cool and unusual stoves."
That one was in a living room. A huge bucket as a surround with the stove sitting inside. The excavators arm was the interior part of the stove pipe.

I'll post it here again when I find it.

It's a popular theme that started a decade or so ago. Now there are even youtube channel videos on them.
