I have 27" of a horizontal double wall stove pipe to get into the fireplace and then the T and up the insulated liner. Can I put a thermometer on the T to get the reading of the stove pipe? Would this work instead of a probe thermometer. I don't like the thought of drilling the pipe. Thanks.
