Time to replace the very old stove at the family camp. The wood stove is used lightly in the spring and fall and occasionally winter by the extended family who has a wide range of knowledge of wood burning. Looking for a stove that is very easy and simple to run. The firewood is typically below 25% mc but can range from 30-20. Looking for something of medium size which heats up quick. Price range is probably less then 1500. Any suggestions?

Would that be a one hump camel or two? :) How large is the building?

Lmao. Stupid auto correct. The camp is 20x30. Wood stove is on the first floor. Does have a full basement but we use space heaters down there. Zero insulation in the camp.

LOL, I'll fix.

With no insulation I would go for a 2.0 cu ft stove. Take a look at the True North TN20 and the Englander SSW01.
