Just did my tax today, not sure if it get extended to 2017, but for those who had new stove installed I last year, as long as it fits efficiency requirement, you can claim up to a maximum of $300 on tax write-off.
 
I think this counts if you purchased the stove in 2016 as I did, not required to have it installed to claim the credit. This credit was supposed to end in 2015 but got extended to 2016, so sayeth my local stove store .No idea about it being extended again to 2017.
