Its 8pm and 73 degrees 20 feet from my insert. Whats your room temp tonight?
Burning Norway maple, one piece of sugar maple and one piece of elm.

74.3 inside, 44 outside with a nice slow burn in the jotul. Mostly maple and black birch tonight given the mild weather. I know it sounds sick, but I am actually looking forward to some colder days so I can open this thing up.

40 outside and dropping here 80 on inside 18 ft from stove. gonna open a widow soon. burning cedar and oak. need some real cold soon getting sick of burning every other day.

17 ft from the stove...40 outside 72 inside...and a very small fire...

70 inside 48 out stovetop 90

Haven't put any wood in since 10am was burning black walnut and ash

Ah, I remember the ice storm of Dec. 2008, 7 days without power with the jotul rocking the house. :-) One day soon argus...

34 °F outside 80 °F in the hot room 75 °F in the rest of the house .Burning a few chunks/mongrels/pucks/knobbies/knurlies/uglies/twisties whatever

I think 62 or 65 degrees . . . I'm staying at my brother in laws place and all he has is hot forced air from an oil boiler. Man, do I ever miss my woodstove . . . I really am spoiled now. Noticing that today as I am bundled up in a blanket.
