I just want to say thanks to everyone here for all of the great information. I am a new wood burner and I had a Jotul 450 installed in August and it has been working great.
Happy holidays all.

You haven't earned a "You're Welcome!" until we get to see a pic. :coolsmirk: RIck

I'll do that

Ah, she's a beauty, Newman. You're going to have a warm Thanksgiving. Thanx for the pic.

Now, that's what I'm talkin' about, NEWMAN. Now you get a great big "Thanks!" and a great big "You're Welcome!", though I really think you did all the real work yourself. If you found these forums helpful...well, that's what they're all about. It's a beautiful installation, enjoy! Rick

Yes, very nice. What's the gizmo hanging on the wall?

Motion controlled deathray laser beam . . . designed to keep anyone but Newman from messing around with the woodstove (i.e. keeps "helpful" father-in-laws from putting in unseasoned wood, wet wood or other "foreign" objects such as particle board, polyurethaned flooring or plywood into the woodstove) :) ;)

That makes more sense than an air freshener. Maybe it's just disguised that way.
