This poor neglected Pellet Stove was left covered outside on an open deck for 2 years! That is cruel and inhumane for any pellet stove that is very sensitive to moisture ! So my pellet stove rescue league jumped into action when I got the call! Back in the workshop we worked tirelessly and replaced the exhaust blower, Igniter, 2 frozen auger bearings then cleaned the rusty Augers and replaced the bad bearing gaskets and alas a ruined control panel! So now it is just an Ugly Ducking But do you think with more healing maybe a new burn pot or impingement plate and using a grinder and paint it can be a beautiful swan again someday??
It heats really well now
I just bought some new flap discs for the die grinder and hopefully we can make it look a little nicer?
