I wanted to replace my factory thermostat , with a digital thermostat, confused on which ones will work for my stove. I have a quad santa fe. Thank you,

Here's a snippet from your stove's owner's manual

A 12 volt AC thermostat is required to operate this pellet
appliance. You may use the included wall mount thermostat
or purchase an optional programmable thermostat
or remote control. It is equipped with an adjustable
heat anticipator. The current rating is .05 amps. The
anticipator needs to be adjusted to the lowest setting
available.

If you put a meter on the thermostat connection locations you will see 24 volts. I don't know why Quad manuals all say 12 volts. Any thermostat that has dry contacts will work. It's best to get one with a set able swing setting to avoid short cycling.

Thank you, I'm not sure why the manual says 12 volts, that was the confusing part. I went with a Lux TX500Uc, picked up at Lowe's for $35.00. I set the swing value to 8, which is giving me a 2 degree swing. I also like that you can calibrate the thermostat as well. Working great so far. Much better then the mechanical thermostat that came with the stove.
