Timberland Co. is recalling Timberland PRO Direct Attach Steel Two Series boots sold nationwide from Sept. 2005 through Nov. 2007.

The voluntary recall is being made because the boots may not provide enough compression and impact resistance. No injuries have been reported, but the company says if the boots are defective, injuries are possible.

The recalled boots have model numbers 26002, 65016, 26038 and 38021.

Any workers who have these boots should stop wearing them immediately and contact Timberland for free replacements.
