You know....that compression wrap sleeve that helps the joints.....anybody have any experience with these. I had both Knees worked on (Meniscus), and the right knee is still sore as heck, and just not right (done back around May). Don't want to go back to Doc just yet (don't want to go back on workmans comp....wanna work), and I've called for his opinion on these....no answer.

A compression sleeve might help (ask your doctor for your case), but adding copper, zinc, titanium, magnets, crystals, or whatever else they want to sell you has ZERO effect unless you get a psychosomatic boost from it.

edit: if wearing it will give me legs like the hunk at your link- I will do it today.

Got the message from the Doc....he sez "it wouldn't do any harm"....not saying that it is the cure. I think it's more of the compression than anything that may help.

Compression wraps can work wonders. Worked well on my "tennis elbow".
Snake oil, well, I swear my magnetic bracelet worked great on my tendinitis as well. I'm pretty sure it was psychosomatic, but if the sugar pill makes ya feel good, keep taking it. Mind over matter.
No longer wear the bracelet, elbows still good at this point. Shoulders, that's a different story, maybe it's time to find the bracelet again.
Good luck!

I used a compression sleeve when I fractured my tibial plateau, definitely helped with the swelling and pain.

You can find them much cheaper than $30, I think I paid around 15 from a Walgreens.

I saw a version at Wal*Mart also

For a year or so I couldn't stop a knee from swelling after walking all day at work. I got a compression sleeve at sports authority. A few months and it was fine. I guess it allowed the joint to heal. I don't have any issues now, but where it when skiing just as insurance.
