where ? how did you like the Hardwood heat ?

If I tell you where, you promise not to wipe them out?? Be nice. Fuel and Flame in Woonsocket has both Turman and PWI.

I've only tried one bag of the Hardwood Heat and it was not a fair test as the stove was all clogged up with stove chow ash. I'm saving the rest for when it gets cold.

sure you have a good stock pile of your favorite pellet
before revealing where to buy them on the forum.
Remember there are a lot of people reading the thread
not only the person who asked you the question.
Doesn't take too many buyers to go in and "clean them out".

same here, i am burning curran softwoods right now.... 12 degress out and 75 in!

Aint this the truth. A bit selfish maybe? But gots to keep the family warm first. I will share once I've had my fill. Missed a couple of nice deals cus I couldn't keep my trap shut! :sick:

That OMV fella shure has a thing for pellet hording! Sick one he is ;-)

No reason my MWP won't get me through the night

I have another ton of MWP but for now I am continuing to try to burn up my last year stash of Canadian Energex. I am nearing the end of one ton and have two more to go. If I get sick of cleaning the burn pot, I'll switch over to the cleaner burning MWP.
I have a ton of Bayou's. They burn ok, dusty, but good heat. Still want to go hunting and try a few others out.

Smokey, I too am very impressed with this year's MWP as I just finished my half ton of them. Paid 4.00/bag, but since the local price has risen to 5.00/bag, I dont think I will be getting any more as I still have over 4 ton Spruce Pointe paid for and stacked.

If prices drop then the piggy will come out again!!

Burned Barefoots overnight . 15 degrees out now. Like them better than the PA's I've been burning, seems more heat & better flame.

Don't worry, I have set up a perimeter around the store and am on the lookout for empty trucks and trailers

For better or worse I am stuck with the stash I have and just can not fit anymore real qty's of pellets. Just a few bags here and there to try out for next year. I will, however, be a professional stove cleaner by the end of the season


J.T.- you won't hear any Turman complaints from me I am now used to the firebox being covered by ash within a few hours of lighting it.(with the stove chow / NEWP's that I have) What a difference with the Turmans. I noticed an increase in heat output as well

I need to adjust my airflow as, while I was getting ready for work this morning, the stove went out. The pot was full of fresh pellets, and the control board was giving me the "low limit tripped" code. I recently installed the new damper US Stove sent me. I also fixed the gap in the burn-pot gasket so I think I was moving too much cold dense air for the feed setting (#2) and it blew the fire out. Adding to the issue is the fact I have mentioned before where the auger will cycle 2,3,4 times without feeding any pellets and then it dumps a lrg qty all at once. I will be on the horn with US Stove later today about that. I did notice some longer pellets in the Turmans vs. the chow/newp I have been burning. May be clogging up the flight of the auger.

as long as they hold the door while me and his wife are loading the pellets into my truck im game! LOL

More likely they'll chase you through the door while repeatedly applying the cast iron skillet version of the board of education about your ears.
