Maine wood mixed and Corinth pellets .

LaCrete and Northern

#1. Vermont Pellets (softwood)
#2. Vermont Pellets

I just recently finished my Bulk stash of 2.75 tons of Vermont Pellets and because we may be selling our house but staying in the same area....keeping our Enviro M55...or getting new stove, I had to go out and get 20 bags, 5 each of
Infernos, Cubix, Logik-E and Maine's Choice.
I have burned through almost 3 of them and I would like to make a positive plug for the Logik-E.

Stove brands and installation aside....I have nothing but praise for the Logik-E
Like the Vermonts, they are very low ash!!!
They put out the BTU's that are close to the Vermont SW's
...and the glass stays pretty clean for up to 3 full days....
Thanks, Spring IS coming.....

Bill

Hey boston fan- I am in the process of researching bulk delivery of vermont a softies. I am considering getting a 3.5 ton steel storage system. Price to my area would be $279/ton delivered and blown in. Is that comparable to bags or do you do bulk delivery as well? Thanks!

Hey Lumesomesamples....Past two years I have done 2.85 and 2.75 tons (Bulk Delivery) around $285/ton. I have 2 Vinyl bags...each hold just under 1.5 tons. Just make sure that the tank has a good vent exhaust pipe for the pellet dust!

Vermonts and Barefoots ( or Lacretes ).

THURMANS If I could get them easily followed by Cubex and LaCreates Okanagans are nice but are they worth the extra? Ill also throw in to the mix anything thats a bargin and heats the house! when I say bargin anything under 180 a ton

At this point in the season

1. available
2. available

Very true. If they are available its really nice to see a few retailers not jack the prices up too. I've got people around here wanting 7.50-11 a bag in some cases.

Are you serious? 11 bucks per bag? I understand supply and demand, however they are shooting themselves in the foot when stock is replenished everywhere.

Barefoot
Somersets (in no particular order)

However ..... I burned 10 bags of Starlite (from Lowes) and they were the hottest and cleanest burning pellet I've ever used!
I will be looking for more next winter and if the next batch is as good as the last 10 bags Starlite will be my pellet of choice.

OK bushmaster ...... what are YOUR 2 favorites?

list your favorite 2 pellets
Okanagan DF is by far my top choice, just too expensive around here. Then a toss up between LaCrete and Energex Hardwood. I like both of those, maybe LaCrete on lower ash and EHW on long burn. But Spruce Pointe is right up there too. I wouldn't throw any of these out.

Agreed......striking while there is blood in the streets. For someone like me that is offsetting the cost of oil, makes no sense to me. I was lucky enough to get a ton last week at regular cost.
