touch-up paint for a flat-black jotul

not enamel, just the plain old flat back. but the paint has chipped off in a few places.

what does stove polish give you? does it look the same as the black paint? I would touch up with paint, but have only found it in a spray can form-- too messy and too much hassle. Can one buy it for use with a brush for minor touch ups? and is there a jotul-specific black?
