touch-up paint for a flat-black jotul

what paint/methods do people use? I've just got a few chips here and there

I would use black stove polish paste. If not, get some stove bright flat back stove paint.

When you say chips, it makes me think you have an enamel stove?

not enamel, just the plain old flat back. but the paint has chipped off in a few places.

what does stove polish give you? does it look the same as the black paint? I would touch up with paint, but have only found it in a spray can form-- too messy and too much hassle. Can one buy it for use with a brush for minor touch ups? and is there a jotul-specific black?

Just get some stove black and apply with a rag...
