Funny! I just stumbled on this thread from the Spring is here thread, where I stated that TSC had already lost me as a customer. I would never consider my self a customer of such a store. That would imply a sort of repetitive visit. I pride myself in being a customer to local shops who's owner livelihood depends on supplying products to local people when they need it. The box stores must go. They drove down the price, then drove out the good busynesses, followed by bringing down the quality of service and product.
Anyway, same thing here, went inside TSC to ask for bio bricks and was confronted with the statement you all are familiar with... You would think that someone who has a little sense left in their brain would say: it's middle of January, shouldn't we supply those bio bricks when they are needed the most? But noooo
!
On the other hand, I was looking up on Craigslist for firewood and came across firewood that is sold by the 1/2 cord palletized and wrapped up, delivered to your door in 4x4x4 pallets for $100 bucks!!
I had never heard of it before, sounds pretty cool. Beats buying a pallet of bio bricks for over $240, assuming the wood is well seasoned, of course.
